FREE passes to Giggle and Wiggle soft play!

MSSC have just secured 4 passes to Giggle and Wiggle, a soft play venue in Caxton, near Cambourne off the A428 and around a 20 minute drive from central Cambridge.

Inside, it has plenty of space to run around as well as a well-provisioned cafe that offers, amongst other things, an all day breakfast and a variety of hot drinks.

All you need to do is book up to two passes at a time, collect your passes from Security and get FREE entry to soft play!

Update: Al Thompson has taken up the mantle as MSSC Chairperson.

Could you be our next Chairperson?

The MSSC Committee needs a volunteer to take on the role of Chairperson, having the responsibility of running a sports and social club with 73 years of history, and to uphold its tradition of running the Marshall Children’s Christmas party.

You will need to use your free time to do this as there is no booking number or allocated time to do this during your working day. For further information contact Michael Bowden by 24thNovember, or to MSSC@marcamb.co.uk thereafter.

Chairperson responsibilities

The individual tasks of the Chairperson should be defined and agreed by the Committee but general responsibilities include: 

·     To oversee the running of the Club/Society.

·     To be present at all major functions concerning the Club/Society including:- Budget Meetings, etc

·     To act as the Club/Societies first representative to external bodies.

·     To assist all Organisers with committee rules and regulations.

·     To agree the agenda for each committee meeting with the Secretary and to chair these meetings ensuring that the  meeting runs smoothly.

·     To chair the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

·     Holder of the MSSC store room, Trophy cabinet, and security Safe keys
