UPDATED: Charity Cricket Match – RAF Brize vs. MADG Cambridge 29 June 2016

Wednesday 29th June 2016

Venue:  Jesus College, Cambridge

2015 Charity Cricket match will be competed for by a Home team Hand Picked from departments across MADG, these include Directors, Purchasing, Accounts, Airport Ops,  Planning, Engineering, Military and Civil. The Away side will include RAF Brize Norton’s 47 Squadron.

The match will start at 2.30pm and will be in the 20/20 format. If it’s anything like last year’s game, the ball will be flying in all directions by both teams’ big-hitting batsmen.

It is in the 20/20 format and Cambridge are the cup holders, so the pressure is on RAF Brize Norton to win away! All welcome to watch on the afternoon/evening Wednesday 29th June. The match will be followed by a buffet, drinks and raffle at the Pavilion, Jesus College.

This year’s charities are East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and Alzheimer’s Society.

Over the coming weeks we will be selling raffle tickets in aid of these charities. The list of prizes are being added to daily. The cost of these raffle tickets will only be guide so you can make extra donations to the charities if you so wish!
