The Classic Car Club section of the MSSC are proud to announce their inaugural event to Snetterton Racetrack. This is an ideal opportunity to see some classic car racing close up.

The Aston Martin Owners Club Racing showcases a whole range of cars from the legendary marque’s illustrious past and present, all competing on track for honours. Other marques are catered for too, with sportscar and GT races as well as vintage events.

The line-up will feature several AMOC staples including the AMOC Intermarque Championship, Equipe GTS for pre-66 under 2.7 litre GT Cars, AMOC 50s Sportscar, GT Challenge Cup, and the Innes Ireland Cup for pre-66 GT and Touring Cars.

The cars, ranging from the pre-war period to the modern day, can be seen close up in the paddock too, where you can chat to the drivers and mechanics.

If you have a classic or interesting car please bring it along!

Cost : Entrance ticket only – £5.00 single or £8.00 pair

New FREE passes to Family-friendly Denny Abbey and Farmland Museum

MSSC is pleased to offer free season passes to Denny Abbey and Farmland Museum, just up the A10, North of Waterbeach.

This is a small, family-friendly site consisting of a 12th Century abbey and a collection of farm buildings with interactive displays and seasonal activities.

You can also get 10% off in the Tea Room on display of the season pass.

We have 4 family passes, allowing 2 adults and up to 3 children (aged 5-17) free entry per pass. Under 5s go free.

Botanic Gardens Festival of Plants 14 May 2016

Please find the attached poster which details this year’s Festival of Plants taking place at Cambridge University Botanic Garden on Saturday 14 May 2016, 10am – 5pm. A celebration of all things plant, it combines a number of must-see stalls and activities, all underpinned by the opportunity to find out more about the plants we grow and the science they support.

CANCELLED: MSSC weekend away to Warwick and Stratford – 10 Sept 2016

This trip has been cancelled due to insufficient numbers. Many apologies for those disappointed.

MSSC is organising a weekend away to Warwick, Leamington spa and Stratford-upon-Avon. We need to know if you are interested in this trip  with a stay over in Leamington Spa.

Dates: Saturday 10th – Sunday 11th September 2016

Cost: per Member £80 PP ( based on 2 sharing). (£30 / person Non refundable : Full Payment must be received by 1st July 2016 )

  • Saturday: Leave Cambridge Airport 8:00 am sharp.
  • Warwick Castle Entrance included in price
  • In the evening we go to Leamington spa and stay at ‘The Angel Hotel’
  • Dinner: Three course Menu with a choice of Starter, Mains and Desserts with coffee & mints to finish.
  • Bed & Breakfast rate per person in a double or twin bedded room.
  • Sunday: Leave at 10 am and visit Stratford upon Avon 4-6 hour stay then return to Cambridge airport Approx 6 pm
