Camera Club

The Marshall Camera Club, aims to provide an introduction to digital photography, assistance in achieving better photographs and instruction on how to further their skills in Photo editing software such as Photoshop Elements to Marshall employees and 30 PLUS Club members.

Meetings are held twice a month where one meeting is a photo critique of a monthly task and general talk around photography and the other meeting a session in editing digital photographs.

Membership is £12 for the year which is put towards an annual exhibition in the Gypsy Moth Restaurant during December where Staff members can vote for their favourite photograph. Prizes are given for Top Three Voted Photographs.

The Club have also had events throughout the year that members attended such as a private visit to the Raptor Centre in St. Ives, the Cat Survival Trust in Welwyn and a recent visit to photograph baby seals at Donna Nook in Lincolnshire. And we also intend on arranging more visits for the coming year. Some of these visits you can bring your family with you depending on availability. These visits are at cost to the member but a reduced rate is sometimes arranged.
